Wastes and waste waters from the food
industries and slaughter houses were studied in
such a way that the process could give a product with an added
value. All the processes developed were efficient and could have a
safe application and give the security to the consumer.
Biotransformation of solid wastes from the food industry and other
sources may constitute a very interesting approach to alleviate
the problem of feed ingredients shortness in all the Arab
countries. This way is very advantageous to avoid discarding solid wastes in the nature
and also to contribute positively to the sustainable development.
